Oxley Park Community Centre opened in October 2010 and is a multi-purpose community building, situated within the local area of Oxley Park.  It aims to provide a high quality provision and promote the benefit of the community facility to the local people of Oxley Park and surrounding areas within Milton Keynes.

The centre enables voluntary and private organisations to offer a range of regular groups offering recreational, educational, health and fitness services to the local community. The centre also offers space for family functions, party hire, courses, religious gatherings, community/charity events, meetings, etc. at affordable prices, giving value for money and a clean, well maintained, safe and secure environment for all to enjoy.

The centre encourages local residents to call in to collect recycling bags, find out information about keeping healthy, fitness, education and social and leisure facilities.

Often the local community police will call in to distribute current information on topical issues.  The centre cares about the safety of local families and supports the Community Police (PCSO) in spreading their agenda of “keeping the local community a safe and respectful place to live.

Our smaller hall and meeting room offers ideal mutual meeting space for local resident groups to meet to discuss any issues or local concerns they may have. It also offers an excellent central place for local property developers to communicate with local residents. We also have a noticeboard for local traders to advertise their businesses.

Local traders and shops use meeting room space, when it is appropriate for them to hold interviews and meetings away from their premises. A local Child and adolescent Mental Health Counsellor also hires space in the smaller meeting room and offers valuable children’s counselling sessions, supporting the mental wellbeing of our younger community.

The centre is open for hire 7 days a week, times vary.

Bank and public holiday hire (by arrangement only, additional charges will apply).

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day.

Children’s Centre:

The Community Centre provides space for Little Owls Children’s Centre. The Children’s Centre offers support to local families with children under the age of five. Little Owls, although located within the building, has its own entrance to the side of the community centre.

Hiring Information:

The Community Centre has two halls and a meeting room available for hire for group activities, courses, parties, events, and meetings. Please ring to arrange a viewing. 

Hiring Instructions: 

  • Select the space you would like from the choices below 
  • Call in, ring or e-mail the Centre to discuss availability and viewing of space. (See contact details at the end of document) 
  • Complete a Booking Form (available from the Centre or via email) and return to the Community Centre along with the CASH deposit 
  • Read the terms and conditions of hire and sign to show that you have read through them and agree to abide by them 
  • Pay all charges before the event
