Current Hire Charges – From 1st September 2016

Please note: Hire charges will be reviewed on a yearly basis and events booked to take place after 1st September each year will be charged at the revised cost

Children’s Parties (2 – 14 years old)

Available at a rate of £20 per hour (Minimum 3 hour hire)

3 hour period to include set up and clear up. Additional time can be added if diary allows for parties from 3pm onwards. 

 Time slots available: Saturdays:   11.00am - 2.00pm or 3.00pm - 6.00pm

                                     Sundays:      11.00am - 2.00pm or 3.00pm - 6.00pm

 Children’s Party - Combined Hall Space (100 sq m)

  • Child-friendly environment, including children’s tables and chairs
  • Entertainment suggestions board
  • Enclosed outdoor area
  • Exclusive use of reception area, with soft seating
  • Exclusive use of Kitchen, with serving hatch, cooker, oven. microwave and fridge  

 A £50 refundable cash deposit is required at the time of booking for all children’s parties.

Please note: A family function such as a Christening, 1st Birthday, Baby Shower, Naming Ceremony, or family parties where the majority of attendees are adults would be considered a family function, not a children’s party.  For these occasions the higher private hire hourly rate will apply. (See costs attached).

Combined Community Hall (100 sq. m)

Suitable for children’s parties, events and family functions

(Suggested capacity = 80/100 people, depending on activity taking place)

  • Tables and Chairs (including child size chairs and tables)
  • Exclusive use of kitchen, with serving hatches.
  • Exclusive use of large reception area, with toilets and baby changing facilities.

Charges:

£35 per hour for Private Hire/Functions/Family Events

£20 per hour children’s party (minimum booking 3 hours) (11am – 2pm or 3 – 6pm)

£18 per hour for voluntary run groups and activities/groups that are public and open to the public wider community

A £150 refundable cash deposit is required at the time of booking for family parties, functions and events.

Large Community Hall: (60 sq. m)

(Suggested capacity = 45/55 people, depending on activity taking place)

  • Tables and Chairs
  • Shared use of kitchen, with adjacent serving hatch.
  • Shared use of reception area with toilets and baby changing facilities.

Charges:

£14 per hour for voluntary run groups and activities/groups that are open to the public and wider community

N.B:  A minimum session hire of 1 hour applies to all hall bookings

Small Community Hall (40 sq. m)

(Suggested capacity = 35/40 people, depending on activity taking place)

  • Tables and Chairs
  • Shared use of kitchen, with adjacent serving hatch.
  • Shared use of reception area with toilets and baby changing facilities.

Charges:

£11 per hour for voluntary run groups and activities open to the public and wider community

N.B:  A minimum session hire of 1 hour applies to all bookings for all hall bookings.

All weekend party & private functions/events other than a children’s party (2 – 14yrs), bookings will be charged at the combined hall rate of £35 per hour, regardless of space required.

Meeting Room (3.3m x 3m approx.)

(Suggested capacity = 6 to 8 people

  • Comfortable seating in a small private room (Extra seating available on request)
  • Ideal space for private meetings and interviews.

Use of kitchen (Prior arrangement needed)

Charges:

£7.50 per hour for all groups including private or voluntary.
 

Bookings for Bank Holidays and other Public Holidays will be considered, however not guaranteed, and will incur additional charges. Please ask for details.
