Hire Charges 1st September 2016

Please note hire charges will be reviewed on a yearly basis and events booked to take place after 1st September each year will be charged at the revised cost

The Community Centre has two halls and a meeting room available for hire for group activities, course, parties and events and meetings. Please ring to arrange a viewing. 

TO HIRE A COMMUNITY ROOM:       

  • Select the space you would like from the choices below.
  • Call in, ring or e-mail the Centre to discuss availability and viewing of space.
  • Complete a Booking Form (available from the Centre or via email) and return to the Community Centre along with the CASH deposit.
  • Read the terms and conditions of hire and sign to show that you have read through them and agree to abide by them.
  • Pay all cahrges before the event.

Children’s Parties (2 – 14 years old)

Available at a rate of 60 for a 3 hour period  

3 hour period to include set up and clear up. An additional hour @ 18 can be added if diary allows for parties from 3pm onwards.  

Time slots available: Saturdays:   11.00am - 2.00pm or 3.00pm - 6.00pm. 
   
                              Sundays:     11.00am - 2.00pm or 3.00pm - 6.00pm

 Children’s Party - Combined Hall Space (100 sq m)

  • Child-friendly environment, including children’s tables and chairs
  • Entertainment suggestions board
  • Enclosed outdoor area
  • Exclusive use of reception area, with soft seating
  • Exclusive use of Kitchen, with serving hatch, cooker, oven. microwave and fridge   
A 50 refundable cash deposit is required at the time of booking for all children’s parties.

Please note: A family function such as a Christening, 1st Birthday, Baby Shower, Naming Ceremony, or family parties with duration of over 4 hours or more and/or where the majority of attendees are adults would be considered a family function, not a children’s party.  For these occasions the higher private hire hourly rate will apply.  (See costs below).

Combined Community Hall (100 sq. m)

Suitable for children’s parties, events and family functions

(Suggested capacity = 80/100 people, depending on activity taking place)

  • Tables and Chairs (including child size chairs and tables)
  • Exclusive use of kitchen with serving hatches
  • Exclusive use of large reception area, with toilets and baby changing facilities.

     Charges:

35 per hour for Private Hire/Functions/Family Events
60 for a 3 hour children’s party (11 – 2pm or 3 – 6pm)

per hour for voluntary run groups and activities/groups that are public and open to the public wider community

A 150 refundable cash deposit is required at the time of booking for family parties, functions and events.

Large Community Hall: (60 sq m)
(Suggested capacity = 45/55 people, depending on activity taking place)

  • Tables and Chairs
  • Shared use of kitchen, with adjacent serving hatch.
  • Shared use of reception area with toilets and baby changing facilities.

Charges:

per hour for Private Hire/Functions/Family Events
14 per hour for voluntary run groups and activities/groups open to the wider community
N.B:  A minimum session hire of 1 hour applies to all hall bookings

Small Community Hall (40 sq m)
(Suggested capacity = 35/40 people, depending on activity taking place)

  • Tables and Chairs
  • Shared use of kitchen, with adjacent serving hatch.
  • Shared use of reception area with toilets and baby changing facilities.

Charges:

per hour for Private Hire/Functions/Family Events
11 per hour for voluntary run groups and activities open to the wider community
N.B:  A minimum session hire of 1 hour applies to all hall bookings

All party/family function bookings will be charged at the combined hall rate of 30 per hour, regardless of space required. This is because for health and safety reasons we would be unable to take any other booking alongside.

Meeting Room (3.3m x 3m approx.)

(Suggested capacity = 6 to 8 people

  • Comfortable seating in a small private room (Extra seating available on request)
  • Ideal space for private meetings and interviews.
  • Use of kitchen (Prior arrangement needed)

      Charges:

7.50 per hour for all groups including private or voluntary.

Any Bookings for Bank Holidays and other Public Holidays for all halls and meeting room space will be considered, however not guaranteed, and will incur an additional charge. Please ask for details.
